(and when he does... you won't be able to catch him!) Several people from my office said that their kids never crawled. Some people don't like being on their stomach - I bet they are the ones who don't crawl. Baby Collin was a crawler - at a year he took a step, after spreading the news that he was "walking," he decided that he got around faster on all fours.Leslie O'Bryantnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3787609237050918293.post-2592854063703164422009-09-16T20:31:29.788-05:002009-09-16T20:31:29.788-05:001. Both were late crawlers (about 9 months); yes we did tummy time; yes they would get pissy after a while (piano that activated by kicking seemed to work longer).
2. Don’t remember exactly, but think we got one of the front teeth around 4 months; DROOL was the first indicator followed by grumpiness
3. Have they ever not talked? I know they were both early on this one but can’t remember when.
4. Both were/are off the charts for everything—height, weight, head, etc.

Now that I just typed all this, I think you wanted me to put it on your site. He rolled over at 4 months, was sitting up by 5 months, and doing the crawl by 6 months. He stood up about a month later and by 10 months (I remember because it was Thanksgiving and we were at my parents), he was walking pretty well!
His first teeth I think started coming in around the 7 month mark. Tons of drooling, and he would be fussier around night-time, but not anything too major.
His first word was dada - little stinker - I guess it was around 8 or 9 months. He's not a real big talker At All, but is doing much better since he's gone to the big-kids class in daycare :)
And Raph was just the opposite as far as chubbiness went. He was a pretty hefty baby but got longer and skinnier as he got older.... First teeth, lower bottom ones. About 10 months.

3. She was saying "dadada" at 7 months (never "mamama" -- boo.), but real "words" at 12 or 13 months. She was talking WAY before she learned to walk.

4. She was 5 lb 12 oz at birth (almost "low birth weight", at 3 weeks early)...by 7 months or so she was CHUBBY, and stayed that way till she learned to walk. Now, she is pretty tall and lean. Also, her daddy is 6 foot 4, so she has that going for her, lucky girl!Jackiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12507215020038864830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3787609237050918293.post-60858944140496943132009-09-16T13:04:51.611-05:002009-09-16T13:04:51.611-05:00I can't really answer these questions from a m...I can't really answer these questions from a mommy stand point, but I had a nephew who never crawled. Instead, he would do the butt drag!Hannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03392659104069649001noreply@blogger.com
